The creek is rising! As it continues to rain and the wind blows, the creek that flows through my backyard rises. Even though it looks like it,  that was not an island out there! The amazing part is that in a day or two it will be back to normal and there will hardly be a sign that it all happened. That’s true in life too.

Sometimes we go through times in our lives when we’re flooded with emotions, lost in the drama; and yet when it’s over we go back to our lives and often we find the emotions and drama were really just a flood that subsides and we go back to our lives a little tired and without really changing anything. If you’re caught in the flood of emotions remember you can step out of the storm and restore sanity any time.
