More Change

Change is a Process

“What we see in the outer is but a reflection of the inner, because we surround ourselves with a picture of our own beliefs. In other words, we manifest in general what we seriously think and believe. So if we want to find out what our habitual thinking is like, we have but to look around us and ask ourselves what we really see.” ~ Emmet Fox

Change is all around us. How is affecting you? Do you have sleepless nights? Worry a lot? Feel things are overwhelming? Change is always happening. We can ride the crest of change and be exhilarated or we can drown in it with all of our fears and baggage. Which will be true for you?

What causes us to drown? Unexamined beliefs and fears. Judgments and prejudices. Need to control. Wanting to stay comfortable rather than grow. We want it to stop, to slow down, but that’s not going to happen. It’s moving faster. What can we do?

If any of this feels familiar to you, it’s time to choose to stay in the fear and worry or to free yourself. Freeing yourself involves taking responsibility for your own life and experiences, being willing to do what it takes, learning how you create your own reality. There are lots of ways to begin. You can find them in books, audios, and classes. You can find them inside of yourself, in things you know its time to act on. Some you can find in the archives of this blog, more are available at Living Concepts. Whatever way, if you choose to free yourself – begin.
